Our priority will always be to ensure the health and safety of our customers, staff and wider business contacts, to that end we have issued new working practices to minimise the risk for both our customers and employees alike.

Please let us know immediately if anyone in the household has been displaying symptoms of Covid-19 or has had a positive test result for it.

Whilst carrying out the removals, goods and exhibition transport:

We plan to refrain from all physical contact between staff and customers

Wash or sanitise hands before arriving at the property and when leaving.

Observe the Social Distancing guidelines and keep 2metres from staff and customers when possible.

Where it is not possible to keep 2metres apart (Jointly carrying a heavy item) masks should be worn.

Regularly wipe down frequently touched objects or surfaces such as steering wheel, door handles.

Use appropriate PPE where possible – Physically demanding work can not always be carried out wearing a mask.

Where delivering / collecting from warehousing / shipping facilities we will abide by any extra Covid-19 measures they have in place.

PPE will be made available to all employees and employees must:​

Take a body temperature no more than 2 hours prior to the job start.

Use the antibacterial sanitisers frequently offer them to customers where no washing facilities are available.

Remove disposable gloves after job completion, gloves should be peeled off from the wrist and disposed of immediately and hands should be sanitised.

Remove disposable face masks and dispose off immediately and hands and face sanitised, non disposable facemasks should be bagged up at the end of each job and a fresh one used.

Our staff will not be able to:

Continue to work if they become unwell with a new continuous cough or high temperature.

Enter a property if someone in the household is displaying symptoms or the customer has not complied with the Covid question and answer service carried out by text on the morning of the removal / delivery.

Eat or Drink on a customers premises (Please do not offer them tea / coffee).
